1. Children's Play Park       

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in obtaining funding to enable us to construct a much-needed Children's Play Park in the grounds Forge Fach. £22k of funds have come from WREN (Waste Recycling Environmental Limited) and this, along with funding already in place from local businesses and with the money raised at various fundraising events at the centre, means we have almost raised enough money for this exciting new project to go ahead.

Plans have been drawn up with a supplier and hopefully work will commence later this year in time for the summer.

2. Clydach Heritage Trails

How well do you know Clydach? How much do you know about its rich industrial past?

As a result of £5000 funding from the Welsh Assembly Government, a new Clydach Heritage Trail will be launched later in the year. Working with the City & County of Swansea & Clydach Historical Society, two trails will allow you to discover the industrial past of Clydach.

Take a walk along the River Clydach, discover the site of the Old Woollen Mill, see where brave souls were Baptised in the river itself and much more, or why not trace the history of the village with the Town Centre Trail!
